Motorola Moto Edge 40 Review

Motorola Moto Edge 40 line of flagship phones are likely to be released in the worldwide market shortly. The complete specs of the Motorola Moto Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro were recently released in a report. The renders of the Pro model, which is supposed to be a rebranded version of China’s Moto X40 smartphone, have also been released by many sources. The Motorola Moto Edge 40 will be a completely new phone for the international market. We have partnered up with renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) to bring you the first glimpse at the Motorola Edge 40. Without further ado, let us examine its design.

Motorola Moto Edge 40 Will Have 4 Color Options

The Motorola Edge 40 will be available in four different color options: Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, Lunar Blue, and Viva Magenta. The leaked renderings show the phone in both black and green. Both variants are pictured with a leather back.

The Edge 40’s general design is similar to that of the Edge Pro. The vanilla variant has a curved-edge AMOLED display on the front and a square-shaped camera island on the rear panel, which holds two cameras and a pair of LED flash units. A closer look at the camera module reveals that the Edge 40 has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS.

Motorola’s batwing emblem can also be spotted on the device’s rear panel. The Edge 40 phone has volume and power buttons on the right side, but no buttons on the left. The device’s bottom contains a speaker grille, a microphone, a USB-C connector, and a SIM slot. None of the leaked renderings reveal the Edge 40’s top edge. It is expected that the Edge 40 will also be available with an acrylic back.
