The LG OLED C3 Sets A New Standard For Picture Quality

When it comes to picture quality, there are very few that beat an OLED TV. Even among them, the “C” series from LG has been the best in the class for shoppers with a high financial ceiling. This is because the excellent quality comes with a price that is not the highest. Now comes the latest addition to the series: the OLED C3.

The OLED C3 Has Quite A Bit Of Competition

The best competition for the OLED C3 is probably other LG Models, namely, the G3 and 2022’s C2. Other competitors are the Sony A80L and the Samsung S95C. Amongst all those, the Samsung and the G3 were comparatively brighter, although they have a much higher price tag. However, that is really not a deal breaker at all.

The OLED C3 series, size-wise, is located in the middle when it comes to its lineup from LG. The OLED C3 and 2022’s C2 have a bunch of similarities, which begin right from the design. The backside stands as well as the minimalistic panels are almost identical. As such, the sleek look can be appreciated this year as well.

The OLED C3 65-inch variant is also one of the market’s lightest TVs, having the same weight as the C2 – 41 pounds including the stand. The remote being the same, however, is unfortunate. LG could have used the opportunity to simplify the layout that is apparent in Roku/TCL and Samsung.

The one downside would be the bad use of screen space by the new LG menu system. The entire top half has been given to an advertisement for the app store of LG. Underneath it will be the slightly more useful “cards” row, a 2023 special addition, that will have options like the input of the TV.
