As fully integrated a gaming computer as you’re likely to find on the pre-built market is the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i. From top to bottom, it appears to be a Lenovo-built system, but unlike one of its main rivals in this market, this tower doesn’t have any unusual components that would complicate future upgrades. No, I’m here for this gaming PC because it looks classy and is handy.
Lenovo is making use of the machine’s relatively recent Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. Although it is a strong GPU, it is notably more compact than the bulky behemoths that make up the majority of RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4080, and RTX 4090 cards.
Lenovo Legion Tower 5i Has Impressive Specifications
Lenovo Legion Tower 5i’s real card, which Lenovo has inserted, is an original creation. However, it is small, quiet, and cool, and even has a built-in bracket to guard against long-term stress being placed on the PCIe slot.
Alongside it is an Intel Core i7 13700F processor. Whether it be for editing or gaming. One of Intel’s Raptor Lake processors has eight large Performance-cores by default, while half of those cores are admittedly a little Efficient-cores.
Lenovo Legion Tower 5i is a hot combo for gaming and works best with 1440p’s mix of resolution and frame rate. It’s more likely that you’ll manage more than 60 frames per second in the game you’re playing if you push this computer at 4K. Although it’s important to note that this computer doesn’t have the fastest RTX 4070 we’ve tested. It holds back a little bit more than the average, which does result in worse performance in applications with GPU limitations. The most significant is gaming.
However, the Tower 5i’s fairly constrained graphics card is probably the reason for its icy performance. Only during extended gaming sessions did I actually hear the fans start to whirr to life; during benchmark tests, this system is hardly noticeable above the background noise of the PC Gamer office. It continues to be a relatively quiet PC even when they do wind up.
