Sonos Move 2 Boasts Of A Stereo Sound And A Powerful Battery

Sonos has recently put out a new variant of its portable speaker, and the Sonos Move 2 delivers its music in stereo format. The announcement was made on Wednesday, and the speaker looks quite similar to its previous variant- it is fairly oval, large, oriented vertically, and wrapped in plastic.

Interestingly, most individuals would be able to notice the difference due to the new options of colors- White, Black, and Olive- which could be compared to the Move’s Shadow Black and Lunar White speaker. The price of the speaker has also gone up considerably- from the original variant being $400 to this being $449. As it turns out, there are a couple of changes taking place inside. Unlike the predecessor, the Sonos Move 2 is just a stereo speaker.

The Sonos Move 2 Could Be The Best Variant For That Price Range

Also, the Sonos Move 2 has a 24-hour battery life, which is quite an increase from the 11 hours that the Original Sonos Move provides. The new variant also supports a line-in audio connection, and one would also be able to use the USB-C port in order to charge the other devices.

It also boasts of new touch controls, which are quite similar to the ones that were recently launched on the Era 300 speaker. The audio has also improved, with three separate Class-D digital amps that would power the single woofer and the two tweeters. There are a few other specifications as well- the Move 2 weighs just 3 kg, is completely dust-proof, and is water-resistant. The Sonos Move 2 is now available for preorder through the official website of the parent company, with the deliveries estimated for the 20th of September 2023.
