What’s New in App Store Connect 2.0
For those who may not know, App Store Connect is the platform utilized by developers to manage their apps available on Apple platforms, including iOS and watchOS.
The 2.0 version of App Store Connect for iPhone and iPad not only features a modernized interface but also includes a plethora of new tools that empower developers to manage their apps directly from their iOS devices.
For instance, developers now have the option to receive notifications when their app is spotlighted by Apple in locations such as the Today tab or featured as App of the Day. They can also filter notifications related to user reviews based on star ratings, so they may opt to be notified solely for 1-star reviews.
Moreover, Apple is launching an innovative method for developers to promote their apps by creating marketing materials for significant milestones, such as when a new application or update gets approved in the App Store. App Store Connect will produce shareable images suitable for platforms like Instagram.
This enhancement to App Store Connect follows a significant update to TestFlight released last month that also introduced a redesigned user interface.
App Store Connect for iOS is available at no cost on the App Store and requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or newer.
