As reported by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is said to have deferred a significant number of features slated for iOS 19, which may not arrive until the iOS 19.4 update in the spring of 2026.
This type of delay is not unusual for Apple. We have seen a similar situation with Apple Intelligence and iOS 18, where the new Siri was not available until iOS 18.4 next spring, even though it was announced at WWDC24 along with other iOS 18 features.
While Gurman did not specify which features have been postponed, he did mention that the delays extend beyond just the updated LLM Siri he discussed last week.
