Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new app for the Apple Watch, offering an extensive array of features. This app is now available and provides users with real-time vehicle insights, along with the ability to lock and unlock their vehicle remotely, among other functionalities.
In a recent press release, Mercedes-Benz stated that this new Apple Watch app was developed in response to customer feedback. Key features of the app include:
- Finding parked vehicles and navigating pedestrian routes to them
- Compass mode for navigation in open spaces without mapping
- Remote locking and unlocking of the vehicle
- Access to vital information and vehicle status
- Information display such as range, battery life, or fuel levels
“This innovative integration empowers owners to engage with their vehicles effortlessly, without the need to reach for their smartphones,” Mercedes-Benz emphasizes.
The Mercedes-Benz Apple Watch app is available for download from the App Store and is compatible with Apple Watch models that operate on watchOS 9 or later. The automaker also mentions that feature availability may differ based on your vehicle’s trim level.
