As reported by Apple (via The Apple Post), various members of the community greeted King Charles III at the historic Battersea Power Station, Apple’s UK headquarters since 2023. In a festive spirit, Apple also involved children from St. George’s Primary School to create holiday-themed artwork on iPads, which was then displayed on the building’s iconic chimneys.

“It was a privilege to welcome His Majesty King Charles to Apple Battersea — our home in the U.K. — and we take pride in supporting The King’s Trust in its essential mission to educate and empower young people,” said Cook. “We are excited about our continued growth here, building on over 40 years of history in the United Kingdom.”

In collaboration with the UK non-profit organization The King’s Trust, Apple backs numerous programs that promote coding skills among students. Some students had the opportunity to present their projects to Tim Cook and King Charles.

At the event, Tim Cook gifted the King a commemorative metal plaque celebrating his visit. The festivities concluded with a performance by award-winning British artist RAYE.

Earlier this month, Apple teamed up with Aardman, the renowned animation studio, to create a short stop-motion animation featuring Wallace & Gromit, utilizing the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s camera. This animation was also projected onto the chimneys of Battersea Power Station in London.
