iOS 18.3 Beta 2 Released for Developer Access

After a brief pause during the holiday season, Apple has resumed the iOS 18.3 beta cycle. Developer beta testers can now access iOS 18.3 beta 2, which is anticipated to launch later this month.

This version, iOS 18.3 beta 2, carries the build number 22D5040d. While a new public beta hasn’t been issued yet, we expect that to change later today.

iOS 18.3 beta 1 didn’t introduce many new features, and iOS 18.3 beta 2 is unlikely to differ significantly.

The update primarily targets bug fixes and performance enhancements, with no new Apple Intelligence functionalities introduced.

  • Support for robot vacuums in the Home app
  • Updated icon for the Image Playground app
  • Fixes for bugs in the Writing Tools API and Genmoji
  • Login to the Feedback app now available via Face ID or Touch ID
  • The Camera Control menu icon in the Accessibility settings now accommodates dark mode
