The creators of various iPhone cases and MagSafe accessories, OhSnap, have just launched the MCON at CES 2025. This innovative slim MagSafe accessory attaches to the back of your iPhone and extends to reveal a fully functional game controller, making on-the-go gaming effortless.
The new OhSnap MCON is available in two colors: black and white. It features a button that launches the controller with a spring mechanism, although manual folding is also an option. The design includes two fold-out handles for enhanced grip while gaming. When not in use, it conveniently folds flat against your iPhone with MagSafe for easy storage in your pocket.
The controller boasts full-sized hall-effect joysticks and highly responsive buttons for an excellent gaming experience. It connects through Bluetooth and includes a 450mAh rechargeable battery via USB-C. While the specifics of battery life are yet to be determined, the company notes that it consumes “very little power.”
OhSnap plans to release this product to consumers later this year, with a retail price of $149. While it may seem a bit steep, its unique design makes it stand out. Keep an eye on their Kickstarter page for further updates.
