Waterfield Designs, one of my preferred manufacturers of leather goods and custom accessories, has launched its Shield Case specifically for the M4 Mac Mini. Last month, I discussed how I transformed my Mac Mini into a portable computer, and while I succeeded, this new case elevates the experience significantly. The new Shield case is now available for pre-order at a price of $99 from Waterfield’s website, with shipping commencing on January 21st. It is offered in two attractive color options: Brown waxed canvas paired with distressed chocolate full-grain leather, or Black ballistic nylon featuring black full-grain leather (quite a mouthful!). I’m eagerly looking forward to receiving this case. I’ve already taken my Mac Mini to coworking spaces and cafes, using it alongside my espresso display, and it complements perfectly. The entire setup fits comfortably in my Waterfield backpack, making this new Shield case an asset for portability and protection.
