Leaked Image Suggests New iPhone SE Could Incorporate Dynamic Island Feature

Apple is expected to unveil a new iPhone SE shortly, featuring an impressive set of capabilities that might establish it as the top choice for many consumers. Furthermore, we can now add another rumored capability to the list: the Dynamic Island.

Dynamic Island May Be Included in the New iPhone SE 4

Earlier today, leakster Evan Blass (known on X as @evleaks) posted code references related to several upcoming Apple products:

  • iPad Air featuring M3 (11-inch)
  • iPad Air featuring M3 (13-inch)
  • iPad 11th generation
  • iPhone SE 4th generation

In a subsequent post, Blass shared an image that reportedly displays visual assets for the four devices mentioned.

The image seems to depict a FaceTime call on all devices.

Notably, the iPhone SE appears to feature a Dynamic Island instead of a notch.

In this context, Blass’s commentary arguably carries more weight than the image itself.

Along with the image, he mentioned that he had “color corrected the phone to emphasize the dynamic island.”

DMN’s Perspective

If the iPhone SE 4 indeed incorporates a Dynamic Island, it would be increasingly difficult to differentiate it from the higher-priced iPhone 16 model.

Both gadgets are anticipated to utilize the same A18 chip, come with 8GB of RAM, support Apple Intelligence, feature USB-C ports, and likely share the same 48MP primary camera.

Although the iPhone 16 includes an Ultra Wide camera, offering it a visual advantage, the new SE was previously thought to sport an iPhone 14-style notch. If this changes, Apple might consider naming it the iPhone 16E after all.
