Ticwatch E3 Review: Flagship Killer for Smartwatches!

Mobvoi TicWatch E3 brings flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 chip in the sub-$200 price bracket. As a result, it delivers an excellent Wear OS smartwatch experience. In terms of fitness tracking, it offers 21 workout modes in total including automatic detection of 3 of them. Plus, the TicWatch E3 boasts all health tracking features including all-day heart rate, stress, and blood oxygen level (SpO2) monitoring.

While everything sounds top-notch so far, Mobvoi has compromised on a couple of aspects like design and display to compensate for the premium Qualcomm chipset. The watch has a polycarbonate case while the silicone strap doesn’t scream luxurious build material either. Plus, TicWatch E3’s 1.3-inch LCD panel lacks the vibrancy and brightness of an AMOLED screen. Finally, because this is a Wear OS smartwatch, its battery life hovers around 1 to 2 days only—although there is the “Essential Mode” that promises a couple of weeks of battery endurance.
