Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will be released in 2023 on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, just months after confirming its existence. The game will feature Luke, a significant DLC character for Street Fighter V, as well as fan favorites Ryu and Chun-Li, as promised in the first teaser.
Luke was originally mentioned by the video game creator as “a significant figure in the development of Street Fighter” who could really help expand the game’s universe. Capcom claims that by using its own RE Engine to produce the fighting game, it would be able to ensure that finer details, such as the appearance of individual muscles tensing, are visible.
Street Fighter 6 Gameplay Is Amazing
The RE Engine was also utilized in other successful games by Capcom, such as Resident Evil Village, Devil May Cry 5, and Monster Hunter: Rise.
Real-Time Commentary is one of the new elements in the game, and it will give easy-to-understand explanations regarding gaming for your matches. These comments will be spoken by well-known commentators from the Fighting Game Community, beginning with Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Aru, and will include subtitles in 13 languages.
It will include all of the previous games’ modes, as well as two new ones named World Tour and Battle Hub. Furthermore, Capcom is adding Modern Control Type with Street Fighter 6 to make special abilities easier to execute: it will let you conduct special strikes merely by pressing the button for it and providing directional input. Street Fighter 6 does not yet have a firm release date, although it is expected to arrive in 2023.
