The LG DualUp Monitor, with a 2560×2880 display and a 16:18 aspect ratio, is the first of its type, built for multitasking workloads.
The majority of computer displays are becoming bigger these days, but LG is pursuing a different method that it believes would appeal to artists and developers. The stand may be clamped to most workstations and tables, and tilt, swivel, height, and extract adjustments are all possible.
LG DualUp monitor, which is currently available for $699, was one of the most daring product announcements at CES 2022. That is pricy, but it is less pricey than some of us had anticipated.
LG DualUp Is Now Available For $699
LG DualUp essentially stacks two 21.5-inch QHD displays on top of each other, totaling 27.6 inches measured horizontally (2560 x 2880) with a 16:18 aspect ratio, rather than doubling the size of a monitor, as most screen makers have already tried. The look is odd at first, but it might be just what content producers and productivity junkies have been waiting for.
LG’s Nano IPS panel is housed in the LG DualUp, and it supports HDR and spans 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, several USB-A 3.0 connectors, and a USB-C port with DP video, information passthrough, and 90W PD charging round out the ports on the DualUp. A headphone jack is also included. Two 7W speakers and HDR10 content compatibility round out the list of features. It may also show two sources at the same time, which is very nice. LG’s Ergo stand is included with the monitor and can be clamped to most desks and tables. Height modifications, pivoting, tilting, and swiveling are all possible with this chair.
