A recent APK (Android Package Kit) analysis by 9to5Google revealed that the Fitbit app seems to confirm concerns over the Pixel Watch and its alleged battery life.
If you are acquainted with Fitbit, you probably already know that all of its devices can monitor your sleep as long as you wear them. Subscribers to Fitbit Premium can even receive individualized advice on how to sleep better.
Google stated during the Pixel Watch’s introduction at Google I/O earlier this year that the gadget will offer the whole Fitbit feature set, including sleep monitoring. We may get a glimpse of the possible battery life of the wristwatch thanks to the updated information on this functionality that was gleaned through the APK deconstruction.
Fitbit Concerned Over Pixel Watch’s Battery Life
According to the data, the most recent update adds new in-app language about Pixel Watch nighttime charge reminders. When activated, the watch will advise you to charge your phone or other electronic devices to at least 30% before night.
It is crucial to remember that an APK breakdown concentrates on unfinished features. There is therefore no assurance that claimed functionalities will really become available.
Although there is not enough data to draw any firm conclusions, the idea that a reminder would even be necessary is not exactly comforting, especially because Fitbit smartwatches do not have this warning. Additionally, the average person sleeps for about 30% of a 24-hour day, which supports speculations that the watch’s battery life is somewhere around that of a 24-hour period.
These queries probably will not get answers until closer to the launch window. But at least it appears like the Pixel Watch’s battery life may be more than the 18 hours that an Apple Watch Series 7 provides.
