Lenovo Tab Could Be A Good Substitute To The Apple iPad

With its sleek grey frame, keyboard stand that resembles the Magic Keyboard, and stylus, the 14.5-inch Lenovo Tab Extreme gives the impression that Lenovo is the company that created the iPad Pro. It’s just somewhat bigger.

The 14.5-inch, 120Hz, 3K OLED Tab Extreme, which costs $1,199, runs Android 13. The tablet has a detachable magnetic dual-mode stand that allows you to put the device either horizontally or vertically, as well as a dual-hinge keyboard that doubles as a stand, allowing you to elevate the device up and off your desk while you type. Additionally, the Precision Pen 3 is included. Without the Magic Keyboard Folio or Apple Pencil, which cost $349 and $129, respectively, the 12.9-inch M2-equipped iPad Pro starts at $1,099 for comparison.

Lenovo Tab Extreme Looks Very Similar To The iPad

Without the additional screen space offered by the Tab Extreme, the total comes to $1,677. A comparable 14.6-inch display is available on Samsung’s $1,199 Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, but that tablet does not come with the $349.99 Book Cover Keyboard.

Other cool features include a fingerprint reader on the power key, a microSD card slot in case you need more capacity, and a Center Stage-like function that keeps you in the frame while being photographed. Lenovo claims that it may be used with the Lenovo Freestyle app or a USB-C connection as a drawing tablet or second screen for a Windows PC. Yes, in essence, this is Apple’s Sidecar.

An eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage power the Tab Extreme. Both the front and back of the gadget have 13MP cameras, and Lenovo predicts a battery life of up to 12 hours. Lenovo claims that the tablet comes pre-installed with Android 13 and will get three further OS updates over the next four years. Later this year, it is anticipated to go on sale.
