Acer Announces 4 New Chromebooks For Classroom Use

Acer has recently unveiled a range of new Chromebooks that is entirely centered upon the classroom. Their new line-up will include devices that will be powered by Qualcomm, Media Tek, and Intel.

This announcement has come just before BETT is about to release the largest Edu-centered tech show in the whole world which brings in immense promise and hopefulness.

Classroom-Oriented Chromebooks

The forthcoming line-up of Chromebooks by Acer will bring some form of benefit for every school. This announcement will integrate both the convertibles as well as the clamshells. They will also bring forth the next generation processors for Intel mobile, present generation Media Tek silicon along with a surprise element of the 7c Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Acer has put in a lot of effort in making sure the design is durable and resistant to any kind of spillage or misuse. The advanced technology is meant to assist the students in every way and has been made user friendly.

First in line is the Chromebook 511 that is powered by the 7c Snapdragon compute platform by Qualcomm. It will offer the options of LTE, prolonged battery life of 20 hours along with a MIL-STD 810H that is strong-built for supporting classroom requirements. It will be available in America from April at a price of $399.99.

The Chromebook 311 is built for classroom use since it can withstand 11.6-ounce water as the keys are mechanically tied which makes them resistant. It will be available for $299.99 in the month of March. Spin 512 has a 3:2 ratio that is quite unique for HD+ display.

Spin 511 as well as 512 will be available with the display of IPS and has the certification of MIL-STD 810H. They both are equally water-resistant as the 311. Spin 511 will be available from April onwards at $399.99 whereas, Spin 512 from $429.99.
