Just a week after launching a redesigned App Store Connect for iOS, Apple has released an update for the Apple Developer app on iPhone and iPad. The latest version introduces support for dark and tinted icons in iOS 18, along with various enhancements.
What’s new in Apple Developer 10.7 for iOS
The release notes reveal that version 10.7 of the Apple Developer app allows users to toggle between grid and list views for videos related to specific topics or events. Additionally, an indicator has been added to inform users when a video has been watched in its entirety.
Notably, one of the significant updates is the addition of support for dark and tinted icons for devices running iOS 18 and newer.
For those who may not be familiar, the Apple Developer app serves as a resource for developers to stay updated with news and watch videos about Apple’s platforms. The app is also utilized to stream WWDC sessions.
In the past week, Apple also revamped App Store Connect for iOS, introducing a new design and features, such as a tool for generating promotional assets for social media platforms like Instagram. This change in App Store Connect comes on the heels of a major update to TestFlight that was released last month, which also featured a refreshed design.
The Apple Developer app is available for free on the App Store and can be downloaded on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.
