Apple is set to usher in 2025 with a new Apple Watch Activity Challenge. Get ready to “Ring in the New Year” by closing all three rings consistently for seven consecutive days starting in January.
The “Ring in the New Year Challenge” will take place from January 7 to January 31. According to Apple:
Ring in the New Year Challenge: Let’s kick off 2025 in style. Complete this award by closing all three rings for a full week in January.
Apple Watch Activity Challenges aim to encourage users to engage with fitness tracking and make the most of the workout features available. This particular challenge has been held by Apple most years since 2016.
If you complete the challenge using any workout app that syncs with Apple’s Fitness app, you will earn a virtual achievement viewable on your iPhone, Apple Watch, and in Apple’s Messages app. Additionally, you will gain access to special stickers for use in the Messages app, FaceTime, and beyond.
You can also fulfill the challenge using Apple Fitness+, which is Apple’s own workout platform offering a variety of content categories.
