On January 30, 2025, Apple will unveil its Q1 2025 earnings report. This report will provide a more detailed analysis of sales for the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10, as well as insights into how sales performed during the holiday shopping season.
Apple to disclose Q1 2025 earnings this month
In the fourth quarter of 2024, which spanned from July to September, Apple reported revenues of $94.93 billion, reflecting a 6% increase year-over-year. Most categories saw growth, apart from Wearables, Home, and Accessories, which encompasses the Apple Watch, AirPods, and HomePod.
With new products like the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 being launched in mid-September, the Q4 2024 report only included data from the initial two weeks of their sales. The upcoming Q1 2025 report, covering October through December, will give us a better understanding of how these new devices have been faring.
For reference, Apple reported the following figures in Q1 from the previous year:
- iPhone revenue: $69.70B
- Services revenue: $23.12B
- Mac revenue: $7.78B
- iPad revenue: $7.02B
- Wearables, Home & Accessories revenue: $11.95B
Additionally, Apple announced today that Luca Maestri has resigned from his position as CFO and will now lead the Corporate Services teams. Kevin Parekh has been appointed as the new CFO, having spent 11 years at the company in roles such as leading Financial Planning and Analysis, G&A and Benefits Finance, Investor Relations, and Market Research.
As always, Apple will stream the investor call live on its website to discuss the financial results. The call is scheduled for 2 PM PT/5 PM ET, with the full earnings report being released 30 minutes prior. This will mark Kevin Parekh’s first appearance as CFO during the call.
