Apple to Broadcast FireAid Benefit Concert for LA Wildfire Relief Efforts

This month, a FireAid Benefit Concert is scheduled to support the victims of the wildfires in Los Angeles. Featuring performances by renowned artists such as Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews, and Katy Perry, the event’s goal is to generate funds for wildfire relief initiatives.

Bloomberg has reported that the FireAid Benefit Concert will be available for streaming across all major platforms, including Apple TV+.

To enhance accessibility and maximize donations, the organizers plan to reach a wide audience. Although Netflix will not be streaming the concert on its platform, it will be accessible to nearly 30 million subscribers via YouTube.

According to Lucas Shaw:

Netflix Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Paramount Global, Apple Inc., and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. will stream the event on their respective services as part of a collaborative effort involving over a dozen companies. Additionally, the concert will be presented in select AMC theaters and will also be made available on radio and music streaming platforms. The concert is set to occur on January 30, with tickets going on sale eight days prior.
