Guilty Gear Strive fans had an amazing day at the Evo 2022 event since Arc System Works revealed a lot of new content that would soon be released, including Bridget, a new playable character.
Since Guilty Gear XX Core Plus R, she will not have made another playable appearance in the series until she is the first DLC character in Season Pass 2. Later today, on August 8, 2022, the new character will become live. She will come with two new fight levels and a second color pack. Bridget will be another “easy to pick up” character, according to Arc System Works. She will be easy for novice Guilty Gear Strive players to take up because of her long-range attacks and great mobility.
Four new characters will be included in the game’s Season Pass 2, with Bridget being available right away and the other three followings later.
Bridget Is A Fan Favorite
Bridget, who uses a yo-yo in Guilty Gear Strive, has been a fan favorite since she first appeared in Guilty Gear X2 and is one of the series’ most approachable characters. She won the title of the most popular character in the Guilty Gear series in a survey that the creators held in 2013 among franchise fans. Because of this, it is not a huge surprise that she is the first DLC character to be included as a playable character for Season Pass 2.
The developers have also revealed a good deal of information about their anticipated roadmap for 2022 and then into 2023 with Bridget’s announcement in Evo 2022 a few hours ago. The second fighter set for release as part of the second season pass will happen at some point this year when Bridget goes on sale later today.
