Apple has unveiled the official trailer for the eagerly awaited second season of its popular drama series ‘Severance’, set to debut on January 17 on Apple TV+.
From the brief scenes we’ve seen, it looks like season two will continue immediately from the intense conclusion of the first season. If you need a refresher on season one, which aired more than 1000 days ago, now is the perfect occasion to revisit it…
The lengthy three-year gap between the seasons was caused by a mix of industry strikes, reshoots, and disputes among the executive producers. During this period, the show garnered significant praise from both critics and fans, with the season one finale achieving one of the highest ratings for a single episode on IMDB.
Season two of Severance will premiere its episodes weekly, starting with the first episode on Friday, January 17. Following that, new episodes will be released every Friday. While season one had nine episodes, season two will feature ten, culminating in the season finale on March 21. Although a third season is expected, it is not yet officially confirmed.
