Enhanced Priority Notifications
With improvements from Apple Intelligence, the notifications system is set for more enhancements: Priority notifications are on the horizon.

Priority notifications will be positioned at the top for quick access, allowing you to easily identify which messages require your attention. Notifications will be consolidated for quicker scanning.
Based on a preview from Apple, users can expect to see a summary of their most critical notifications together. If implemented effectively, this should significantly enhance iPhone’s notification handling.
Introduction of New Built-in Emoji
With Genmoji, you now have the capability to create any emoji you feel is missing. However, Apple has plans to introduce new built-in emojis as well.
The anticipated next set of emojis is expected to debut in iOS 18.3 or 18.4 and will include:
- Face with bags under eyes
- Fingerprint
- Leafless tree
- Root vegetable
- Harp
- Shovel
- Splatter

Sketch Style Feature in Image Playground
Apple has just launched a new application on the iPhone’s Home Screen in iOS 18.2 called Image Playground.
This AI-powered tool allows users to generate unique images by utilizing a text prompt or one of the many included features.
Currently, Image Playground offers image generation in two styles: Animation and Illustration. A new Sketch style will be added soon.
This new feature will not only apply to newly created images but will also be available for existing images in your library.
Integration of Robot Vacuums in the Home App
A new category of devices will soon be supported within Apple’s Home app: robot vacuums.
Initially scheduled for inclusion in iOS 18.2, it was recently revealed in the iOS 18.3 beta that robot vacuum support will finally be added with the upcoming software update.
After the release of iOS 18.3 in the coming weeks, users with compatible robot vacuums will be able to control their devices directly from the Home app or via Siri commands.
New Languages for Apple Intelligence
Finally, Apple has revealed that a number of new languages will be integrated into Apple Intelligence with the release of iOS 18.4 in April.
While the exact languages have not been confirmed for April, a list of languages set for rollout in 2025 includes:
