AirPods Pro 2: Black Friday Deals
Launched in September 2022, the second generation of AirPods Pro received a refreshed version last year, swapping the Lightning charging case for a USB-C one. Even after two years, the AirPods Pro 2 remain my top recommendation for wireless earbuds and arguably the best available today.
The improvements from the first generation are substantial. Though I wasn’t a fan of silicone-tipped earbuds, the AirPods Pro 2 changed my perspective. With the H2 chip, active noise cancellation has seen remarkable enhancements, making the AirPods Pro 2 my go-to earphones.
While I also own AirPods Max, I’ve found myself using them less frequently since acquiring the AirPods Pro 2. They’re undeniably lighter and more compact, delivering sound quality and noise cancellation that rival, if not surpass, my experiences with the Max. I now can’t envision traveling without my AirPods Pro 2. The audio is enveloping with satisfying bass, making the ANC the best I’ve encountered.
The AirPods Pro 2 come with an extra-small ear tip for enhanced comfort and allow you to adjust the volume by sliding on the earpieces. Additionally, the charging case includes Apple’s U1 chip, featuring Find My and Precision Finding capabilities. If you opt for the updated USB-C version, you’ll also benefit from Lossless audio support for Apple Vision Pro.
Despite being two years old, I maintain that the AirPods Pro 2 are still the premier earbuds available today. If you’re using older AirPods or growing weary of the AirPods Max, it’s time to experience the AirPods Pro 2.

Beats Studio Pro: Black Friday Deals
The Beats Studio Pro headphones were launched last year and represent the first major upgrade to the Beats Studio line since 2017. The iconic Beats design has been retained and enhanced—in several ways, the Beats Studio Pro even outshine the AirPods Max.
As someone who has both AirPods Max and Beats Studio Pro, I can confirm the Beats headphones are much lighter. Specifically, they weigh only 260g compared to the 385g of AirPods Max, making them more suitable for extended wear or workouts.
In terms of audio quality, the Beats Studio Pro does not disappoint. While I still believe AirPods Max offers slightly superior sound, the significant price difference makes this a reasonable trade-off. The Beats also come with active noise cancellation and Transparency Mode, plus they support Lossless audio—something AirPods Max cannot do.
The Beats Studio Pro also features Find My support and is compatible with the Android ecosystem. With a USB-C port and a headphone jack, they are perfect for users of non-Apple devices.
Normally priced at $349, the Beats Studio Pro is available for just $159 this Black Friday. At this price, they are definitely worth considering.
