The end of the year is approaching, but the creators of the popular fitness and wellness application Gentler Streak have rolled out exciting updates for 2024. The most recent app update enhances health metrics and introduces the long-anticipated Activity Recap 2024.
In version 5.1, Gentler Streak elevates its health metrics, allowing users to view 7-day charts for each metric and an extended 14-day option. Furthermore, the app now incorporates RMSSD (Root Mean Square of Successive Differences) in its calculations for Heart Rate Variability, offering more precise insights.
Additionally, Gentler Streak has enhanced its menstrual cycle tracking features, introducing new metrics like previous cycle length, 1-year cycle variability, guidance for perimenopause, improved period duration logging, better HealthKit integration, and fresh insights related to emotions, menopause, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
For Apple Watch users utilizing it as a sleep tracker, the Gentler Streak app now displays health metrics, including sleeping heart rate, HRV, and oxygen levels within the Sleep Stages chart, providing a detailed overview of bodily activity during sleep. Naturally, the Activity Recap 2024 is now live, allowing you to reflect on your yearly health and fitness journey.
“Discover what you accomplished this year — since 2024 is still underway, your recap updates daily through December, enabling you to monitor your progress until the final day. Regardless of whether you took a leisurely approach or challenged yourself to new heights, your recap honors your unique pace,” the developers state.
