Companies dislike leaks, and Google has become one of the most affected in recent years. Google has launched the pre-announcement of its next smartphones. Yet the war is still one that it consistently loses.
Two pictures of a Pixel 8 Pro prototype surfaced on Reddit today.
According to these pictures, the Pixel 8 Pro is unquestionably a Pixel and unquestionably of the Pro sort due to its three back cameras. Whatever description you want, the design is still the recognizable Pixel design with the camera “visor” or “huge camera island extending from one side to the other.” As stated on the label, this is obviously a prototype and is “for test/evaluation only”.
Pixel 8 Pro Will Change Its Design
A codename for the Pixel 8 Pro known as “husky” is displayed in the “product revision” box. This prototype contains 128GB of SK Hynix’s UFS storage and 12GB of Samsung’s LPDDR5 RAM.
Do not take the specifications of this gadget too seriously because it is not intended for sale and the Pixel Pro is still being developed. For example, the odd design on the rear glass may be a leak protection code.
Additionally, the hue isn’t something Google would use in 2023 because there isn’t much contrast between the portions.
But this should be a solid hint that the Pixel Pro will retain a lot of its predecessor’s design elements. There is still plenty of time for additional intriguing leaks of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro to appear between now and their rumored October release date.
By the way, an infrared thermometer is a circular object beneath the LED flash array, as was originally rumored.
