Hideo Kojima Is Not On The Dev Team Of Metal Gear Solid 3

Hideo Kojima is not engaged in Metal Gear Solid 3. The artist Yoji Shinkawa is also not involved in the production of the remake, which is directed by Konami with aid from the port team Virtuos Studio. According to a Konami spokeswoman, “They are not involved.”

The statement goes on to claim that “the development team will work diligently to develop this remake and also the ports (for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection) so that they can be enjoyed on numerous platforms by even more players all over the world.”

Konami cited the fact that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the first game in the timeline as the reason for starting any recreating efforts with it. Another factor is that many fans have long called for a remake of this game.

Hideo Kojima Quit After Metal Gear Solid 5

Hideo Kojima is presently in charge of Kojima Productions. Which is developing the PS5 game Death Stranding 2. But thanks to the aforementioned Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection, fans of Kojima’s work may now enjoy his creations on Sony’s current-generation console.

According to a Konami spokeswoman, “Hideo Kojima is not involved.” However, the production team will put a lot of effort into making this remake and the ports (for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection) so that even more people from across the world may enjoy them on other platforms.

For those who are unaware, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 was announced alongside Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. Fall 2023 will see the arrival of the collection. This substantiates prior suspicions that Virtuos, a studio responsible for such projects as Dark Souls Remastered and Uncharted 4, was engaged in the remake. “Yet another reason is the long-standing demand from many fans for a remake of this game.”
