Huawei Has Jumped Ship To Get On Track With Apple

Huawei has leveled several attacks on other Android phones, whilst complimenting Apple iPhone as the best smartphone currently available. This news comes after the smartphone company decided to wait for Trump’s departure- which will allow them to see if the changing battleground would be perfect for the makers of the android phone. In the meantime, they have continuously belittled other smartphone brands like Samsung and Google.

Huawei Has Considered Apple Its Inspiration

Before Trump’s blacklist completely broke down the company, Huawei was considered to be a powerhouse for Android. So much, that the company had competed against Samsung for the top dog of the android world. Interestingly, Huawei never wanted to take Samsung’s place, or idea- they were more interested in Cupertino.

It can be argued that the main strategy for Huawei was to control not just the hardware department, but also the software ecosystem. In certain ways, this can be compared to Apple- rather than any other android system out there. In fact, this was confirmed by the consumer boss in the U.K. where he stated that there were just two conglomerates throughout the globe which could put their stamp on both Hardware, and software. One of them was Apple, while the other would be Huawei.

Ren Zhengfei, the CEO of Huawei has always claimed that Apple was forever his inspiration. In 2019, he mentioned that Apple was his teacher- owing to the success the company had garnered over the years. This does answer my both Ren and his offspring Meng Wanzhou are hardcore iPhone users. Well, it is a different story altogether that her Apple possessions were seized when she was arrested in Canada a few years back.

Currently, Huawei is standing at a fork on the road. With several of its flagship phones being divested, it is uncertain if the P-Series and Mate devices will go down the same route. Ren has acknowledged that this is particularly due to a scarcity of chips.
