Fluro offers a charming summary of everything you need to know for the day, all presented in a sleek Mac interface with a nostalgic LED scroller. It compiles weather updates, calendar events, reminders, news, and more, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
How Fluro Works
To begin with, Fluro assists you in managing your daily schedule. It can announce the weather for your area (including forecasts for upcoming days), keep track of your calendar and reminders, and even deliver the latest news headlines. Additionally, it provides the current date, time, and the music that’s playing.
This information is displayed through a retro LED scrolling interface reminiscent of the 80s and 90s, which you can personalize. You have the option to change the font, color, and scrolling speed of the text. You can also rearrange the order in which items scroll, allowing for a customized experience.
Moreover, you can select specific news genres to focus on, helping you to bypass certain topics if desired. The app also allows you to choose how many articles will scroll through at any given time.
Fluro is a useful tool for staying up-to-date with news, weather, and other relevant information throughout your day. If you have a larger monitor or a second display, it serves as an excellent companion app.
