Just days after releasing iOS 18.2 to the public, Apple has initiated the beta phase once again. Developer beta testers can now access iOS 18.3. Here’s what you need to know.
The first beta version of iOS 18.3 is available for developers, labeled with build number 22D5034e. Currently, there is no public beta version and no timeline for when one might be released.
The previous update, iOS 18.2, introduced several significant features for the iPhone, including enhancements to Apple Intelligence such as Genmoji, Image Playground, and Siri’s integration with ChatGPT.
At this point, details on new features in iOS 18.3 are still under wraps. However, Apple has more Apple Intelligence advancements in the pipeline, including a new Siri that can understand personal context, perform in-app actions, and demonstrate on-screen awareness. Additionally, we are anticipating Priority Notifications, an AI feature designed to highlight your most essential notifications.
Apart from the features related to Apple Intelligence, the company is also focusing on HomeKit support for robot vacuums and a redesign of Apple Mail for iPad and Mac.
It is expected that iOS 18.3 will be publicly available by late January. Following that, beta testing for iOS 18.4 is anticipated to commence, with a likely release in March or April.
It remains to be seen whether these new features will be part of iOS 18.3.
