10 additional languages supported by Apple Intelligence
When Apple Intelligence first debuted in October, it was limited to US English.
In iOS 18.2, Apple broadened the language options by introducing several localized English variations.
Now, with the upcoming iOS 18.4, Apple Intelligence is extending its reach to non-English languages for the very first time.
The new languages that will be supported include:
- French
- German
- Italian
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Spanish
- Japanese
- Korean
- Chinese (simplified)
Additionally, localized English support has been added for users in Singapore and India, bringing the total to 10 new language options for customers.
Siri’s AI enhancements likely deferred to iOS 18.5
While many anticipated significant Siri enhancements in iOS 18.4, the press release suggests these improvements might be postponed until iOS 18.5.
