The demand appears to have plateaued at approximately 22 million panels.
Nonetheless, experts speculate that Apple’s entry into this market could significantly boost demand, bringing fresh functionality and innovation. Many consumers have mentioned their interest in the Galaxy Z Flip but are unwilling to switch from their iPhones.
Anticipated Release Date
Multiple sources indicate that Apple’s inaugural foldable iPhone is set to launch in the second half of 2026, likely coinciding with the iPhone 18 series. This timeline assumes no further development setbacks.
