LG, the Electronics giant provided a glimpse of the new LG Rollable in the CES 2021 annual electronics and technology show. In the teaser, we can catch a glimpse of a smartphone with a rollable screen that hints towards a comeback of the next gen smartphones in 2021 in a bigger and better way.
The Futuristic LG Rollable Is Real And Coming This Year, The Company Says
Among the smartphones with foldable screens that had the misfortune of releasing the previous year were the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, and Fold 2, the Motorola Razr, and so on. However, despite the amazing tech provided in these phones, people were not interested in spending over $2000 for a smartphone amidst the uncertainties of the coronavirus pandemic.
The fear and uncertainty regarding the virus roll over this year as well. However, with greater hope related to the vaccine and the stimulus checks provided by the government, this might be a better year for these smartphone giants if they want to bring out their new releases like the LG Rollable.
LG did not provide any specific information pertaining to the release of its new LG Rollable. Even the mention of this phone was made at the end in promo reels. The company however provided the name of this new release and said that this one is real and coming this year.
