Luminar Photo Editor Introduces RAW Support and iCloud Sync for iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro

The Luminar Mobile photo editing application is rolling out two highly anticipated features today: full support for RAW image editing and iCloud synchronization across devices in Luminar Mobile 2.2.

Luminar Mobile is accessible on iPhone, iPad, and even the Apple Vision Pro, which is particularly noteworthy given the lack of native photo editing capabilities in the built-in Photos app on AVP. With the addition of iCloud sync, Luminar Mobile is a must-have for anyone serious about image editing.

Here’s a summary of the new features in Luminar Mobile 2.2:

Comprehensive RAW Format Support
This update introduces RAW file support for various major camera brands, granting users access to advanced editing tools such as adjustments for exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, and tint. This enhancement enables photographers to fully leverage their images with remarkable accuracy.

Edit History Feature
The newly implemented editing history function preserves all modifications automatically, enabling users to revisit and advance their work whenever needed. This feature offers better control during the creative process by allowing easy tracking and evaluation of editing progress.

iCloud Sync for Edit History
For users who edit on multiple devices, Luminar Mobile now offers iCloud synchronization. Edits performed on one device, for instance, an iPhone, can be effortlessly transferred to another device, such as an iPad. This integration ensures a seamless workflow across Apple gadgets, enabling users to initiate a project on one device and continue on another without interruption.

User Interface Enhancements
In response to user feedback, the updated Luminar Mobile features a range of interface enhancements that make the application more intuitive and user-friendly, resulting in a smoother editing experience. Specifically for iPad users, the Tool Develop section has been restructured, with separate tools for Saturation and Vignette for easier access, along with a new “Revert to Original” button to quickly reset edits and return to the original image.
