Apple has unveiled a fresh beta version of macOS Sequoia 15.3. The new RC (Release Candidate) beta is currently being distributed to developers and public beta testers alike.

To install the most recent beta for macOS 15.3, users with beta updates activated can navigate to System Settings ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update.
This RC version brings us very close to the anticipated public launch of macOS Sequoia 15.3, which is expected to occur within the next week.
The update primarily emphasizes enhancements in Apple Intelligence, introducing two significant features:
- Genmoji compatibility on Mac
- Updates to AI summary functionality
The latter feature was initially presented last week in the beta 3 rollout.
This update responds to previous concerns regarding Apple Intelligence’s notification summaries that have unfortunately presented misleading information to users.
Apple Intelligence remains in beta status; therefore, the company warns that features such as notification summaries may contain inaccuracies.
The beta versions for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS have recently improved the ability to identify notifications containing AI summary content through italicization, along with temporarily disabling summaries for news applications, and additional adjustments.
