Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Second Batch Would Be Coming In On August 4th

Nintendo has finally announced the release date for the next courses of DLC that would be coming in for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the date is the 4th of August. This second wave would be including all of the eight courses which were previously included in the first wave that was launched in March.

The courses would mostly be based around the tracks that were previously found in other Mario Kart games, but there is definitely a course that seems to be brand new the ice cream-themed course which has been called the Sky-High Sundae.

Bringing out the tracks from the previous games, one would obviously be host to the Kalimari Desert from the N64 version of Mario Kart, the Mario Circuit 3 from the SNES, the Mushroom Gorge from the Wii, the Snow Land from the GBA, the Waluigi Pinball from the DS, and the New York Minute coupled with the Sydney Sprint which appeared in the mobile-focused title Mario Kart Tour.

DLC For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe To Be Launched In August

This would be the second wave amongst six different waves that Nintendo has already announced, which in February stated that it would be released over a course of two years. In all, Nintendo would be adding 48 different tracks to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which would double the number of tracks that the game included at launch in 2017. The game, naturally, has been one of the most successful titles that have been released for the Nintendo Switch, and which also sold around 45 million copies.

The second wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also includes a series of tracks that would be a part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Subscription, or which could be purchased as part of the Booster Course Pass for a sum of $24.99. This price definitely includes all of the 48 DLC tracks that will eventually be released for the game.
