Today, Apple announced its plans for the 2025 Major League Soccer season through the MLS Season Pass service. This subscription offers global access to all MLS matches without any blackouts. The season kicks off on February 22, and fans can subscribe now to catch preseason games, including LAFC vs Liga MX on February 11, and Inter Miami vs Orlando City on February 14.
A new addition this season is ‘Sunday Night Soccer’, a weekly game feature on Sunday evenings. All Sunday Night Soccer matches will be freely available for Apple TV+ subscribers to stream.
While most matches will continue to take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the introduction of Sunday Night Soccer allows for a more varied schedule and spotlights a featured game each week. This initiative will also include dedicated studio programming, pre- and postgame discussions, and custom graphics, with broadcasts available in both English and Spanish.
Besides the benefits for Apple TV+ users, MLS Season Pass is rolling out new promotions in collaboration with T-Mobile, Comcast, and DIRECTV.
To start, T-Mobile customers will earn a free subscription to MLS Season Pass, granting them access to all games for the 2025 season. This offer is a return of a previous promotion from 2023, which was absent in the last season. T-Mobile subscribers can claim their free subscription via the T-Life app starting February 18.
Furthermore, Apple is teaming up with Comcast to deliver an integrated viewing experience for Xfinity users. This partnership will allow live streaming of MLS Season Pass directly from the Xfinity interface, eliminating the need to launch the Apple TV app, and will even feature a direct link in the channel guide.
Xfinity customers can register for MLS Season Pass through their accounts to watch every game. Additionally, MLS 360— the league’s highlights and key moments show— will be available for free to Xfinity users. The complete MLS Season Pass subscription will also be complimentary for the opening week of the season for Xfinity customers.
Similarly, DIRECTV customers will have the option to subscribe to MLS Season Pass directly through their service, with live games broadcast on satellite channels 480 to 495. Like Xfinity, DIRECTV users will enjoy a complimentary first week of MLS Season Pass from February 22 to March 1.
As always, full-season jerseys holders for MLS clubs can redeem one complimentary subscription to MLS Season Pass.
The standard pricing for MLS Season Pass remains unchanged, priced at $14.99 per month or $99 for the entire season. Apple TV+ subscribers benefit from a discounted rate of $12.99 per month or $79 for an annual pass. A single subscription can be shared with up to six family members using Family Sharing.
