Modern Warfare 2 Changes Leaked

A brief new gameplay trailer for Modern Warfare 2 has been released, and this one teases a high-stakes scenario taking place in Chicago.

Massive set pieces are nothing new to the Call of Duty video game series. Amazing cinematic sequences have become a spectacle in the Call of Duty franchise since the second installment. A mission in Call of Duty 2 involved soldiers storming the shores of Normandy on D-Day.

It was one of the most suspenseful gaming moments ever, and it helped make the franchise famous. This would continue to be a recurring theme in the series when nukes were detonated, Washington, DC, was invaded, a battle with Russians broke out in New York City, and so on.

Modern Warfare 2 Has Several Changes

It appears that this pattern will continue in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Prior to a larger announcement scheduled for September during the Call of Duty Next event, what appears to be new gameplay footage from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has leaked online.

In a gameplay clip shared on Twitter, the player commandeers a vehicle, climbs inside, and then drives along the road while firing at adversaries that are passing by. The video is of poor quality and gives no background information on what is being displayed. In fact, despite popular belief, it has not even been officially verified that this is Modern Warfare II.

Before they are formally released, new Modern Warfare 2 games’ screenshots and other information frequently appear online. Fans will not have to wait long, though, since Activision’s major Modern Warfare 2 next event is scheduled to take place on September 15. The business will showcase Modern Warfare II’s multiplayer, talk about the brand-new mobile game Project Aurora, and provide additional information on Warzone 2.0 during this event.

Just a few weeks remain till the launch of Modern Warfare II multiplayer, which is scheduled to start on September 16 on PlayStation before expanding to other platforms. Pre-ordering fans get first dibs. Although Modern Warfare II does not go on sale until October 28, individuals who pre-order it get to enjoy the campaign a full week earlier.
