A variety of third-party MagSafe wallets are available on the market, many of which offer enhanced features compared to Apple’s official wallet. Priced at $49, Apple’s MagSafe wallet is made from the less-than-favorable FineWoven material.
In contrast, MOFT’s Magnetic Wallet Stand is priced at half Apple’s offering and is crafted from vegan leather, boasting a range of unique features.

Hands-on with MOFT’s Magnetic Wallet Stand
To start, this wallet comes equipped with a stand, a feature not common in many alternatives. This functionality allows you to easily prop your iPhone for video watching and conveniently place it upright on a table. Behind the kickstand, there’s a handy slot that accommodates up to 3 cards, based on my experience. While MOFT officially claims it fits only 1-2 cards, I have successfully stored two credit cards along with my driver’s license without any trouble. However, fitting three cards can be a bit snug.
MOFT offers the wallet in a selection of up to 24 colors, giving you plenty of choices. Currently, it is available on Amazon for $25.49 across all color options.
Spec Rundown:
- Combines wallet, stand, and grip in one
- Features three stand positions: landscape, portrait, and floating modes (see image below)
- Measures only 0.2″ thick
- Weighs just 60 grams
- Constructed with industry-leading Vegan Leather from MOVAS
- Equipped with strong magnets that have a pull strength of up to 3.4 lbs
9to5Toys’ Take
Among the various third-party iPhone MagSafe wallets I’ve tried over the years, this one stands out as a favorite. The integrated stand makes it incredibly versatile while maintaining a sleek design. The ability to securely store the three cards I need is an added bonus.
Having used it for a month, the only drawback I’ve noticed is a bit of creasing at the fold where the wallet converts into a stand. While this isn’t entirely surprising, it’s worth a mention. Aside from that, the wallet has held up exceptionally well—unlike Apple’s FineWoven wallet after similar usage.
In summary, I highly recommend this wallet to anyone considering a MagSafe option. Granted, there is a limitation in terms of card capacity while remaining compact, which may deter some buyers from opting for a MagSafe wallet altogether. However, if that’s not an issue for you, this is an excellent choice. Its versatility is impressive.
I have found it particularly useful as a stand—whether for watching YouTube videos while cooking in floating mode or propping my phone up at my desk in portrait mode. You might find it just as handy.
