It has been directly verified by Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang that Motorola Razr Foldable is “very soon” arriving. Yang said that the current model is “far better” than previous iterations.
The original Razr from Motorola was released in 2019 a few months before Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip, making it the first company to introduce a folding smartphone with a clamshell design. Then, in 2020, Motorola introduced a follow-up model of that gadget with an updated design and 5G capability. Finally, last year, Motorola unveiled a third version, Motorola Razr Foldable, with an improved design and upgraded specifications. But, that model, which primarily targeted the Chinese market, never made it to the United States.
Motorola Razr Foldable Is Ready To Change The Game
Motorola is reportedly going to concentrate on enhancing the Motorola Razr Foldable’s hinge and “applications on the device” for the impending fourth generation. It has been hinted that the display crease on the new design would be one area for improvement. Of course, there are also rumors that the cover display will be a significant upgrade. The Motorola Razr would be making an appearance in 2023 in a more cutthroat foldable market for this form factor.
The most well-liked foldable to date, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series has been a resounding success for the firm. The Oppo Find N2 Flip, Oppo’s interpretation of the form factor, was just released. Although a 2023 Razr’s release date has not been confirmed, previous leaks suggested that it would happen in June.
Motorola and Lenovo were showcasing fresh rollable ideas at MWC 2023 in the meantime. “Motorola Razr” and a laptop with a vertically extending screen. Several firms have so far showcased rollable concepts, but none have really reached the market. The LG Rollable may have come the closest, but the firm shut down its mobile division before it could officially launch.
