Netflix Clarifies Misunderstanding Regarding Apple TV Feature Long Desired by Users

Netflix has paused its price hikes to clarify that it inadvertently enabled a long-requested feature for Apple TV users.

Earlier today, users of the Apple TV set-top box noticed that they could access Netflix movies and shows within Apple’s TV app. This basic integration allowed Netflix content to appear in Apple TV’s universal queue, letting users add to and resume their watch lists seamlessly.

However, just hours after its launch in the United States, the feature began to disappear. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg speculated that this integration was unintentional but hinted that genuine support could be available in the future. Meanwhile, The Verge has reported that Netflix confirmed this integration with Apple’s TV app was indeed an error and not meant to be released.

Historically, Netflix has been reluctant to collaborate with Apple’s TV app as it prefers to remain the singular hub for streaming its movies and shows.

Now, it seems it’s back to regular service with upcoming Netflix price increases.
