New Apple Invites 1.1 Update Now Live on the App Store

Apple has released version 1.1 of the Apple Invites app, which first launched nearly two months ago. Here’s what you need to know.

New Apple Invites Update Aligns with iOS 18.4 Launch

Since its release in early February, Apple Invites has received a few minor bug fixes.

Today’s release marks the first significant update, at least in terms of versioning.

Apple Invites 1.1 is now available for download on the App Store.

Unfortunately, the update notes aren’t particularly thrilling:

This update includes improvements to stability and performance.

These are the same phrases Apple used for its last two updates for the Invites app.

In those instances, the versions were 1.0.1 and 1.0.2.

It’s common practice for both Apple and third-party developers to use the 0.X numbering scheme for especially minor updates.

However, with a release labeled 1.1 and its timely arrival just after iOS 18.4, expectations for this update are naturally higher.

At this moment, after a quick hands-on with version 1.1, I haven’t noticed any significant visual changes.

It’s possible that Apple has upcoming over-the-air changes, and the release of version 1.1 in the App Store could be a precursor to more substantial updates on the horizon. That’s what I’m hoping for, at least.
