A new Apple store is set to open on Saturday, and the company has revealed several preview images beforehand. It features the iconic curved frontage that has become a hallmark of some of their recent mall locations.

This architectural style was first introduced in India back in 2023, with Apple noting it as a distinctive characteristic of the design.
Apple Saket greets visitors through a uniquely crafted curved entrance, featuring white oak tables that exhibit Apple’s products and accessories, alongside a signature wall crafted in India.

This distinct design did not remain exclusive for long, as the same architectural style was replicated at a second mall location in Shenzhen, China, shortly after.
The most recent example (shown at the top) has been unveiled by Apple in preview images of Apple MixC Hefei, situated in China’s Anhui province. This store features an unobstructed curved glass entry, allowing for an even more fluid transition from the outside to the inside.
As is now customary, locally sourced materials have been featured prominently in the design.
Nestled near Swan Lake and within a key business and financial zone, Apple MixC Hefei boasts a spacious, curved glass frontage that seamlessly integrates the interior and exterior, welcoming customers into the store. This new location showcases sustainably sourced materials, emphasizing Apple’s dedication to design quality and environmental responsibility.
Timed closely with the upcoming lunar new year, Apple is celebrating the event in several unique ways.
To commemorate the Chinese New Year, customers can acquire special-edition AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, customized for the Year of the Snake. They can also register for a unique Chinese New Year workshop focused on innovative techniques for capturing and reliving memories using the iPhone 16 and Apple Vision Pro, Apple’s inaugural spatial computer designed to transform collaboration and connectivity. Apple MixC Hefei will also feature festive window decorations and themed elements throughout the store to create a joyous atmosphere.
The grand opening is scheduled for 10 am on Saturday, January 18.
