A new leak from today verifies the appearance of the island and the 200 MP camera by presenting a render of the Xiaomi 12T Pro next to the Redmi Pad.
This information was provided by one of Twitter’s most active tipsters, and it is fascinating to compare the 12T Pro to the similarly-priced Redmi Pad given that the latter can only boast an 8 MP camera on its back. One belongs to the “T” brand of “affordable flagships,” or “flagship killers,” if you prefer, while the other is obviously designed to be a low-cost entry-level budget tablet.
Redmi Pad Specifications Leaked
Despite their differences, both are on the way, and there’s a possibility they might even be revealed simultaneously. According to rumors, the Redmi K50 Ultra, which was released for the Chinese market last month, would be renamed the Xiaomi 12T Pro, with the main camera being the only improvement.
If it happens, the 12T Pro should have a 6.67-inch 1220×2712 144 Hz OLED touchscreen, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 CPU, 8/12 GB of RAM, 128/256/512 GB of storage, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 2 MP macro camera, a 20 MP selfie camera, a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W rapid wired charging, and more. A listing in the Google Play Console has verified the SoC based on these specifications as well as the peculiar screen resolution. The Redmi Pad, the company’s first tablet bearing the Redmi brand, may be introduced alongside the Xiaomi 12T series later this month. Even though none of it has been confirmed, renders of the Xiaomi 12T Pro and Redmi Pad have appeared online.
