Public Beta 2 for macOS 15.3, iPadOS 18.3, and More Now Available

Public Beta 2 for macOS 15.3, iPadOS 18.3, and More Now Available

Just a day after launching beta 2 for developers, Apple has rolled out public beta 2 for its suite of software platforms. This update includes macOS Sequoia 15.3, iPadOS 18.3, watchOS 11.3, and additional releases.

Recent Software Releases from Apple Show Minimal New Features

Apple has several software updates currently in the testing phase for public beta users, including:

  • iOS and iPadOS 18.3
  • macOS Sequoia 15.3
  • watchOS 11.3
  • tvOS 18.3
  • HomePod 18.3

During this beta cycle, the various software updates have shown a surprising lack of new features.

The platforms that support the Home app have made initial preparations for robot vacuum compatibility, but not much else new has emerged.

The beta 2 update released today introduces a modification to the Calculator app on iPad. Users can now perform repeated calculations by pressing the equals button multiple times.

This feature was previously available on iPhone before iOS 18 but was removed during last fall’s updates to the Calculator app.

Now, this functionality returns—and for the first time on iPad.

Primarily, these beta updates have concentrated on resolving bugs and enhancing performance. As the beta period continues, more changes may still be on the horizon.
