Spotify acknowledges current outage
A brief look at social media indicates that problems began during the 8 a.m. ET hour. Downdetector has also reported a surge in outage reports over the past hour.
Spotify has acknowledged the issue on its support website, stating: “We’re receiving reports from users about the app not loading correctly or experiencing playback problems. Some users are also having trouble accessing the Support site. These issues appear to be occurring on both mobile and desktop platforms.”
We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops. Spotify had a minor outage last week as well.
