The acclaimed Apple sci-fi series Severance is set to launch an official companion podcast in conjunction with the upcoming release of its second season. The podcast will be hosted by the series’ director, Ben Stiller, along with star Adam Scott, who portrays Mark. Expect appearances from other cast members, including Britt Lower (Helly) and Zach Cherry, as well as insights from the show’s creator Dan Erickson.
Scheduled to premiere on January 7th, the podcast will feature daily episodes that discuss each installment of Severance season one. Following this, it will transition to weekly episodes released alongside each new episode of the second season, which begins on January 17 with fresh episodes dropping every Friday.
The newly-announced podcast for Severance is produced by Audacy Podcasts, known for their work on the official podcast for Foundation.
In addition to featuring cast members, the podcast will also invite celebrity fans of the show, such as Jon Stewart, to join in on the discussions.
It remains uncertain whether the Severance podcast is officially partnered with Apple and branded as an Apple TV+ Original Podcast, though it seems quite probable.
