The first of TCL’s new XL line is officially here. The 85-inch R745 offers a lot of promise for those who want to go with a big, cinematic TV without taking out a second mortgage. We get started on the path to our review by unboxing and setting up (you won’t believe that that involves) and getting some first impressions. In terms of sheer size, this will be one of the biggest TVs of the year.
